Good through the shoulder seasons
It works through spring and early autumn with a light quilt, and it stays breathable even on the warmer nights in between.
My sister asked about it
My sister stayed a weekend and asked where the striped bedding came from, and she has since ordered a set for her own room.
Hang is a little short
It fits the mattress properly, though the duvet hangs slightly shorter at the sides than our last set, so the bed looks narrower.
Finer on the bed than the listing photographs suggest, and the charcoal is a shade deeper in daylight.
Ivory cushion softens the dark
An ivory cushion against the striped pillows echoes the pale ground and softens the dark lines, and an oak table adds warmth.
Check the pillow size
The duvet size worked well for us, though the pillowcases are generous and our standard pillows sit loose inside them.
The corner of the room looks composed with these stripes, though the charcoal is a little darker than I pictured.
The charcoal stripe is calmer than I expected from the photos.
