Loftier than expected
Warmer and loftier than I expected from a plant-based fill. It puffs up properly after a day out of the bag.
Nice to sleep warm without any feathers involved.
Enough on its own in autumn
Layered with a light quilt in autumn it is enough on its own; in winter I add a blanket on top.
Behaves like a down duvet
Under a linen cover it behaves exactly like a down duvet: no rustling, and no feathers working through the fabric.
Light, warm, no feathers.
Fills the cover properly
It fits a standard duvet cover properly, with enough loft to fill the corners without bunching in the middle.
Filling stays even
The cotton shell is smooth and tightly woven, and the filling sits evenly instead of collecting in the corners.
Second one for the guest room
Ordered the same insert again for the guest room once we had slept under it for a season.
Down-like, no feathers
Bought one for my parents because they wanted down-like warmth without feathers, and they are happy with it.
