Plain cushion balances the pattern
A plain ivory cushion against the patterned pillows balances the stripes and the bows, and a knitted throw at the foot keeps it warm.

Description
Fine stripes and little bow motifs give this cotton bedding a light, playful character. Ribbon ties add a small decorative accent at the edges, while coordinated plain and patterned pillows keep the arrangement from feeling too uniform. The soft colors and relaxed folds create an inviting bed with a gently romantic mood.
Pair the petal pink shade with an ivory knitted throw folded loosely across the foot of the bed. A light oak bedside table brings warmth beside the narrow stripes, and a small clear glass vase keeps the surrounding details simple enough for the bows to stand out.
- Fine stripes: Narrow stripes add a gentle rhythm to the duvet and pillowcases, giving the bedding pattern without a heavy visual contrast.
- Bow details: Small bow motifs and ribbon ties bring a playful accent to the coordinated bedding and soften its striped design.
- Cotton fabric: The cotton base creates an easy everyday feel, balancing the decorative details with a relaxed, naturally draped appearance.
- Coordinated pillows: Plain and patterned pillow surfaces give the arrangement variety while staying within the same soft color palette.

Softer than expected
I expected a crisper cotton and the fabric is much softer in the hand, closer to something worn for a season than new bedding.
The stripes are finer and the bows smaller in person than the photos suggested.
Guests liked it
Our guests said the room looked cheerful with this set on the bed, and one asked about the little ribbon ties before leaving.
Kept in the guest room
It has stayed on the guest bed since spring, and the petal pink with the narrow stripes suits the soft light in that room.
Bows sit at matching points
The small bow motifs repeat evenly across the duvet and the pillows, and the ribbon ties are set at matching points on the edges.
No extra pillowcase option
The set has everything I need and the bows are a lovely detail, though extra pillowcases are not sold on their own.
It suits a small guest room where a bit of pattern lifts the whole space.
Right on a thick mattress
The fitted sheet covers our thick mattress without pulling off the corners, and the cover drapes generously over both sides.
The little bows make the bed feel playful when I turn in at night.
Ordered another colour
After a season with the pink I ordered the same striped set in a paler tone, and both work with the same pale wood furniture.
Insert stays in place
The cover holds the insert well and the corners stay filled, so the striped pattern runs straight rather than pulling to one side.
Looks like the listing
The stripes and the little bows match the listing closely, and the petal pink is a shade softer in person.
Stored over summer
It folded away over the warm months, though the cotton holds a light crease if the stack is packed too tightly.
Better with simple pieces
It looks best with a light oak table and a clear glass vase, though a patterned throw competes with the stripes and bows.
Check the pillow size
The cover size is right for us, and the only sizing note is that the pillowcases are roomy for standard pillows.
Gift for a friend
I gave a set to a friend for her new flat and she liked the little bows, saying they made the bed feel gathered rather than plain.
Fine cotton stripes, small bow motifs, ribbon ties at the edges.
Warm on a humid night
It breathes well on most summer evenings, though on one humid night the cotton felt warmer than we wanted.
