Comfortable through the year
It has been comfortable from spring through autumn and warm enough with a heavier insert in winter, so it has stayed on the bed.
Fine checks, washed finish, all-season cotton.
Better in the morning
It looks crisp in the morning in daylight, though in the evening with the lamp on the checks read a little grey.
It suits an older cottage room, though the pale ground marks easily.
Looks like the listing
The gingham is the same small scale as the listing and the ground is a shade softer in person, which suits our bedroom light.
