Solid Brushed Cotton Bedding Set

Description
Soft, solid color gives this brushed cotton bedding a calm presence, with wide pillow borders adding just enough definition. The fabric falls in gentle folds rather than a crisp, formal arrangement, making the bed feel easy to settle into. Coordinated duvet and pillow colors keep the overall look quiet and cohesive.
Pair the sage mist shade with an ivory wool throw folded at the foot of the bed. A warm oak bedside table brings out the softer side of the blue-green color, while a simple paper lamp keeps the setting light and understated.
- Brushed cotton: The brushed fabric creates a soft-looking surface and a relaxed drape across the duvet and coordinated pillowcases.
- Solid palette: A choice of plain colors makes the bedding easy to combine with patterned cushions or a textured throw.
- Bordered pillows: Wide, flat pillowcase edges give the bed a defined outline while keeping the overall design simple and restrained.
- Coordinated layers: Matching duvet and pillow colors create a cohesive arrangement that can be styled with warm wood or pale neutrals.

Gift for a housewarming
I gave a set as a housewarming gift and it suited their simply furnished bedroom straight away, so it made an easy present.
A calmer blue-green in person than the photos suggest, with the wide borders adding shape.
Good between seasons
It works through spring and early autumn with a light quilt, and with a heavier insert underneath it still suits the cooler weeks.
Added a set for the guest room
We liked the first set enough to order another for the guest room, and the sage mist suits the softer light in there.
Softer and less formal than the cotton set it replaced.
Hangs well at the sides
The duvet hangs evenly on both sides with a generous drop at the foot, and the fabric falls in soft folds rather than standing stiffly.
Soft from the first night
The brushed cotton feels soft and slightly fuzzy straight from the pack, with none of the crispness of new cotton.
Extra layer in a cold week
In the coldest week we tucked a wool blanket under the cover, and the brushed cotton took the extra layer without the surface flattening.
Wish for a larger size
The set is lovely and the brushed cotton is soft, and the only thing I would add is a larger size for our wide bed.
It stays on our bed
It has stayed on our main bed since spring, and the solid colour suits that room's plain walls and warm oak furniture.
My sister asked about it
My sister asked where the bedding was from when she stayed, and she has since ordered the same brushed set for her own room.
Looks like the listing
Colour matches the listing closely, and the brushed surface has a softer look in person than it does on screen.
Warm oak brings it out
A warm oak bedside table brings out the softer side of the blue-green shade, though against grey furniture the colour looks cooler.
Right with a light insert
It sits nicely over a light insert, though with our heavy winter duvet the cover looks slightly stretched across the corners.
Borders are evenly stitched
The wide pillow borders are stitched evenly on both shams, and the seams along the duvet run straight without any puckering.
Brushed solid cotton, wide pillow borders, relaxed soft folds.
The sage mist colour makes the corner of the room feel calm at night.
Ivory wool throw at the foot
An ivory wool throw folded at the foot of the bed suits the sage mist colour, and the wide pillow borders give the plain bed some shape.
