Description
Brackenwood brings warm checks and decorative edging to a softly styled bedroom. Mocha checks create a deeper focal point, while muted sage offers a quieter palette. The pure cotton fabric has a relaxed, crinkled appearance that keeps the familiar pattern from feeling too formal, and the yarn-dyed checks add detail across the folds.
Choose the bow-trimmed mocha or sage design for small accents along the edge, or sage with white lace for a broader decorative border. Plain cushions and wooden furniture leave space for these details. Each colour and trim combination has its own look, making it easy to choose the mood that suits the room.
- Pure cotton: Cotton fabric has a relaxed, gently crinkled appearance.
- Yarn-dyed checks: Woven colour gives the check pattern its clear lines.
- Distinct trims: Mocha and sage bow designs sit alongside a sage lace design.
- Easy styling: Plain cushions and warm wood complement the patterned bedding.

Would like a deeper green
Mocha and sage both suit the room, and the only thing I would add is a deeper green option.
Soft with a crinkled surface
The cotton has a light crinkled surface in the hand and falls over the bed instead of standing up.
My partner likes the checks
My partner prefers plain bedding as a rule, and he likes these checks because they read as familiar rather than busy.
Sharper checks and a softer cotton than the plaid set it replaced.
Right on a deep mattress
Our deep mattress gave the fitted sheet no trouble, and the corners were still tucked in the morning.
Sage throw softens it
A plain sage throw at the foot softens the mocha checks, and the bow-trimmed edge adds a small decorative note.
Checks deeper in person
The mocha is deeper in person than the listing shows, and the sage option is softer than it appears on screen.
Pure cotton, mocha checks, crinkled relaxed finish.
Checks are evenly spaced
The yarn-dyed checks run evenly across the duvet and the shams, and the colours hold at the seams.
Comfortable in most weather
Warm months with a light quilt and cold ones with a thicker insert, and the checked cover has managed both.
Better with warm wood
Warm wooden furniture and plain linen flatter it, while against pale grey the mocha checks feel heavier.
