The ruffled, quietly shiny corner of the room looks dressed even on a dull morning.
Layering needs restraint
A plain throw at the foot works nicely with the ruffles, though any second pattern on the bed quickly looks crowded.
Ordered another colour
After a season with the ivory I ordered the darker version for the guest room, and the two beds look related without matching.
The ruffle is finer and the sateen softer than the set it replaced.
