Colour held after washing
The first wash left the colours even and the flowers sharp, and the cotton feels softer still.

Description
Little blue, red and yellow flowers mingle with green leaves and pink ribbon-like shapes across an ivory ground, giving this cotton bedding a playful meadow feel. The lively print is balanced by a plain cream reverse visible at the folded edge. Cotton twill drapes easily, keeping the colorful design relaxed rather than formal and leaving room for a bedroom with a little personality.
Echo the green in the print with a plain mint cushion at the head of the bed. A cream knitted throw across the foot connects with the quiet reverse, while its larger loops give the small flowers a different texture to sit beside instead of another competing pattern.
- Cotton twill: Pure cotton provides a comfortable everyday fabric with an easy drape that keeps the colorful pattern feeling relaxed.
- Meadow color: Small flowers, green leaves and pink ribbon-like shapes bring a playful mix of details to the pale ground.
- Plain reverse: A cream reverse offers a quiet contrast when the cover is folded back, balancing the busy floral face.
- Internal ties: Eight duvet ties offer attachment points for a compatible insert, helping maintain its position inside the cover.

Smaller meadow flowers than the previous set, and the cotton has a softer hand.
Guests liked it
Our guests said the room felt cheerful, and one asked where the colourful meadow print was from.
One crease from the box
There was a light packing fold on the duvet at first, and it dropped out after a couple of nights.
Used from spring onwards
Spring through to early autumn suits it here, and a heavier insert carries it into the cooler weeks.
Lies flat once made
With the bed made up, the cover lies flat with only a few soft folds across the middle.
Keep the layering plain
A plain cream throw at the foot is all the layering this needs, and the reverse shows softly when the cover is turned.
Cover holds the insert
It sits snugly over the insert with the corners kept full, so the meadow print stays even.
She asked for the link herself
My sister asked for the link herself after seeing ours, so she could buy one for her guest room.
Comfortable all year
One cover has done the year here, thin over summer and warmer over winter with a thicker insert.
Looks like the listing
The meadow flowers and the cream reverse match the listing closely, and the colours are a shade softer on the bed.
The colourful meadow print gives the bed personality, though it needs a plain room around it.
Bold from across the room
From the doorway the bed reads as a lively meadow, and the individual flowers and ribbons only become clear beside the bed.
Bought another after gifting
After sending one to a friend I ordered a second for us, and its yellow flowers came up a little brighter.
The little meadow flowers make the room feel playful, though the ivory ground marks easily.
