One pattern at a time
It layers well with a plain throw, though I would not add a second patterned layer on top of these stripes.
Folding the cover back feels like a small ritual now.
No extra blanket needed
Made for cold rooms. It is warm enough that we have not needed an extra blanket on top this winter.
Generous pillowcases
Medium fits our double bed properly and the pillowcases are generous rather than tight over the inserts.
Cold-season set
It is a cold-season set for us. From November it goes on the bed and the cotton set goes away.
Straight piping, one thread
The stripes are evenly spaced across the duvet and the piping runs straight, though mine had a small loose thread at one corner.
Somewhere to sit, not just sleep
It has made the bedroom feel like somewhere to sit in the evening rather than just somewhere to sleep.
The cushion is the trick
The oatmeal woven cushion against the pillows is exactly right — the coarser texture makes the fleece feel softer by comparison.
Warmer than cotton
The plush surface is soft against the skin, though it is a warmer set than the cotton one we use through summer.
Piping creases at first
Lovely set. My only note is that the contrast piping creases more than the fleece itself when it comes out of the packaging.
