One black cushion only
A small black cushion echoes the ties, though a second patterned cushion would be too much.

Description
Soft cotton jersey gives these bows an easygoing character. The ties and contrasting edges bring a little romance to otherwise simple bedding, with generous areas of plain color keeping the look grown-up. It has the familiar softness of knit cotton and a relaxed drape that suits a room meant to be lived in. The detail is playful, but there is nothing fussy about the overall mood.
For the sage and black combination, add a small plain black cushion behind the green pillows to echo the dark ties and edging. A pale oak bedside table brings gentle warmth to the green, while its smooth grain contrasts with the soft knit surface and loose ribbon ends.
- Cotton jersey: Soft knitted cotton offers a familiar, relaxed feel, making the decorative bedding comfortable and approachable for daily use.
- Bow tie detail: Visible ties along the duvet and pillowcase edges add a playful finish and a clear point of interest.
- Contrasting edges: A second color traces the outlines, giving solid bedding definition without relying on an all-over print.
- Coordinated solids: Broad areas of plain color leave room for textured accessories, so the bows can remain the main decorative detail.

More considered in the room
The sage is deeper and the black edging stronger than the photos, which looks more considered in the room.
Soft straight away, no scratch
The jersey is soft straight away and the bows are not stiff or scratchy against the skin.
Slightly more made-up
It lives in the room we actually use, though the ties mean it looks slightly more made-up than a plain set.
Insert stays put
The insert stays put and the knit cotton holds it in place without bunching anywhere.
For a friend's new flat
Bought one for a friend's new flat and it has been on her bed since the day it arrived.
Nothing pulls at the corners
Medium fits our bed with room to spare, and nothing pulls tight at the corners at all.
Bows smaller than expected
A guest asked about the bows, though she thought they would be larger from the photos.
Easygoing enough for a bedroom that actually gets used.
Softer and less formal than the buttoned cotton set it replaced.
Second set in another colour
Bought a second set in another colour after the first one, so we can swap them over.
Lighter set for high summer
The jersey breathes well in warm weather, though in the hottest weeks we use a lighter set.
Bows stitched evenly
The bows are stitched on evenly and the contrasting edging runs straight along the duvet.
Depth for our mattress
It has enough depth for our mattress and the corners have not lifted once overnight.
10/10 would recommend! Fits my cottagecore theme perfectly. The light blue is such a pretty pastel shade.
Worth the money
The fabric has that perfect lived-in texture I was looking for. The ribbons actually hold the duvet in place really well, not just for looks!
I was worried the navy color might fade, but it washed perfectly. The contrast red piping is such a nice detail—gives it a really high-end preppy look.
Love the earth tones. The brown piping on the olive green is a chef's kiss. Super cozy and breathable for summer.
So coquette! 🎀
The ribbon ties are everything! It makes my room look so cute and vintage. The sage green color is exactly like the photos, very calming.
Softest sheets ever
This washed cotton is no joke, feels like sleeping on a cloud. The bows take a little bit of time to tie after washing, but it's totally worth it for the aesthetic.
