Layering needs restraint
A plain throw at the foot works nicely with the earth tones, though a textured or patterned layer on top soon looks muddled.

A crease from packing
It arrived with a light fold across the duvet that took a few days to settle, though everything else was perfect on opening.
Slightly large for our bed
It covers the mattress properly and the drape is good, though it measures a little more generously than the set we replaced.
Weave has held up
The jacquard has kept its raised diamond pattern after several washes, and the sateen has stayed smooth rather than going flat.
Lies flat on the mattress
Once the insert is in and the bed is made, the cover lies flat with no ripples, and the corners stay square through the week.
Keep the room plain
It looks best with plain bedding underneath and almost nothing on the nightstand, since the jacquard already gives the bed texture.
Cover holds the insert neatly
The cover sits smoothly over the insert and the corners stay filled, so the raised diamond pattern keeps its shape instead of sagging.
Looks like the listing
The diamond weave is exactly as the listing shows and the earth tones are a shade warmer in our bedroom light, which I prefer.
Stored away for summer
It folded into a compact stack over summer, though the jacquard holds a soft fold if it is packed under anything heavy.
Used from autumn onwards
It goes on in autumn and stays through to spring, and with a lighter insert underneath it still works on mild evenings.
Works all year
With a light quilt in summer and a heavier insert in winter the same cover has worked through the year without feeling wrong.
The warm earth tones make the room feel grounded, though the brown is deeper than I first pictured.
She asked for the link herself
I gave a set as a wedding present and the bride asked for the link herself afterwards to order another for their spare bed.
My brother asked for the link
My brother saw the diamond weave when he visited and asked for the link within the day, so it clearly suits a plain bedroom too.
Curry brown and clay beige together read calm rather than dark.
The raised weave makes it feel far more considered than the flat cotton it replaced.
