Cream shows marks sooner
Both colours feel the same and both washed well. The cream does show marks a little sooner than the charcoal.
Winter bedding sorted
Perfect through the winter months. I would not put velvet on a bed in a hot room, but for a cold one it is ideal.
Fits our existing insert
Comfortable over our existing duvet insert, with enough room inside the cover that the insert does not shift around.
Reading in bed again
I read in bed for an hour most evenings now instead of moving to the sofa. The warmth is what keeps me there.
Layers well with cotton
Layered with a plain cotton throw at the foot of the bed, the tones work together instead of competing.

Stays on a deep mattress
Our mattress is deep and the fitted version stays put all night without creeping up at the corners.
Charcoal against white
Charcoal grey against white pillows looks very considered. I would have liked a warmer neutral for a wooden bed frame, but this works well.
Started with cream
Started with the cream and came back for the burgundy. Both look far more expensive than they are.
Even colour throughout
Dye is even across the whole sheet with no patchy areas, and the hems are stitched straight.
Kept on all winter
We keep these on from October to March and swap back to cotton in summer. They fold down small, which makes storing them easy.
Only wish for a deeper green
Lovely and warm on cold nights. My only wish is one more deep green in the range, though the charcoal I chose is beautiful.
A real short pile
The velvet has a genuine short pile that feels plush, with none of the synthetic sheen you get on cheaper sheets.
True to the photos
The shade is very close to the product photos and reads calm rather than sweet on the bed.
Much softer than I expected. Nothing like the stiff upholstery velvet I had pictured when I ordered.
Plush, warm, and the lavender is a soft greyed lilac rather than a bright purple.
