It works through the awkward weeks between autumn and winter better than cotton does.

Picks up the grey walls
The muted colour picks up our grey walls, and the stripes echo the headboard nicely.
Ready for cotton by March
They live on the bed all winter long, although by March I am ready for cotton again.
Finer in person, bed looks taller
The stripes looked wider online, but in person they are finer and the bed looks taller for it.
Usual size is fine
I would go with your usual size; the fitted sheet has enough depth without sizing up.
Warmer and finer-striped than the fleece set they replaced.
Size up for anything thicker
Medium fits our mattress depth, although I would size up for anything much thicker.
Nice to get into at night, though warm by morning.
Stripes line up neatly
The pinstripes line up across the fitted sheet and the pillowcases, and the edges are finished neatly.
Bulky to store
It folds down quite bulky, so storing it takes more shelf space than the cotton sets do.
Light insert slides inside
The duvet cover keeps the insert in place, though a very light insert slides around inside it.
Fleece, fine pinstripe, muted colour.
Guest found them too warm
A guest commented on how warm they were, though she found them too warm for her own house.
Two fleece layers is heavy
It layers with a plain throw, though a second fleece layer on the bed starts to feel heavy.
Some pulling on a deep mattress
It fits our bed well, though the fitted corners take a bit of pulling on a deep mattress.
Would like the pillowcase alone
Very happy. I would like the same stripe on a pillowcase sold on its own, which is my only note.
Finer stripes than the photos
The pinstripes are finer and the colour softer than the photos, which looks calmer on the bed.
Warm without clamminess
It keeps the warmth in without turning clammy, which is why it works in a heated flat.
Closer to brushed cotton
Softer and smoother than I expected from a fleece set, closer to brushed cotton than to thick pile.
For a friend who feels the cold
Gave a set to a friend who feels the cold and she has kept it on since December.
Warm, quiet stripes, winter sheets.
Pairs with a patterned duvet
The stripes are fine enough to pair with a patterned duvet, which I did not expect from fleece.
Stays on the cold spare bed
It stays on the spare bed, where the room gets cold, though I would not use it in summer.
Second set in another colour
Bought a second set in another colour after the first winter, so both beds match now.
Soft, warm, perfect for slow mornings. The elastic fit hugs the mattress nicely and doesn’t shift around. Would buy again in another color.
So soft and warm
Bought these fleece sheets for winter and they’re honestly better than expected. Super gentle on the skin and the stripes make the room feel calm.
Love the texture. It’s plush but not heavy, and it doesn’t get stuffy at night. Color looks slightly lighter than the photo but still really pretty.
Cozy upgrade
Honestly didn’t expect fleece sheets to change the whole vibe of the room, but these did. Clean stripes, warm feel, washes well so far.
