A friend wanted the link
A friend asked where the ivory set was from after staying the weekend, and she has since ordered one for her own guest room.
Out again for the cooler months
It folded away over summer and came back out as the nights cooled, and the ruffle had not flattened in storage.
Softer after washing
The cotton softened noticeably after the first wash, though the ruffles need a light press to sit flat again once dried.
Used from spring onwards
It goes on in spring and stays through autumn, and with a heavier insert underneath it still works for the cooler weeks.
Similar to our last size
It measures close to our previous set and covers the mattress properly, though the pillowcases are slightly larger than we expected.
Lies flat and even
Once the insert is in and the bed is made, the cover lies flat with the ruffle falling straight rather than curling at the edges.
Softer than the photos suggest
The washed cotton is softer and more relaxed than the listing photographs suggest, and the ruffles are fuller in person.
The ivory ruffles make the bedroom feel gentler in the evening.
Fine for most of the year
It works through spring and autumn with a light quilt, though on the hottest nights we swap the cover for something thinner.
Layering has to stay plain
A plain cream throw across the foot suits the ruffles best, though a second patterned layer quickly makes the bed look overdone.
Bought one after gifting
I gave a set to my sister-in-law and liked it so much on her bed that I ordered the same ivory for our own room.
