Duvet stays put
The cover holds the insert in place and the corners stay filled, so the ruffled duvet keeps its shape and does not slip inside.

Description
Generous ruffles turn this ivory cotton bedding into the soft center of the room. The plain fabric keeps the look calm, allowing the gathered borders to bring movement and a little occasion to an everyday bed. Coordinated pillows repeat the frilled edge at a smaller scale, making the whole arrangement feel complete without relying on a busy pattern.
Pair the ivory shade with a pale taupe linen cushion tucked against the pillows, giving the light palette a little depth. Place a warm brass reading lamp on the bedside table: its smooth, compact shape contrasts with the generous fabric folds and picks up their creamy warmth.
- Cotton fabric: Smooth-looking cotton balances the generous gathered trim, creating a comfortable foundation for a softly dressed bed.
- Gathered borders: Wide ruffles give the duvet and pillows a full decorative edge, bringing movement to the otherwise plain design.
- Ivory palette: The soft neutral color works with pale linens, warm metals and natural wood, leaving room to adjust the surrounding style.
- Coordinated detail: Matching frilled pillows echo the duvet border, making the arrangement feel finished with only a few simple accessories.

The ruffles are softer here than on the frilled set we had before.
Ruffle stitching could be tighter
The gathered border runs evenly around the duvet and the pillows, though on one pillowcase the ruffle stitching is slightly looser.
Bought a second in taupe
After a season with the ivory set I ordered another for the guest room, and the two beds look related without matching exactly.
Taupe cushion adds depth
A pale taupe linen cushion tucked in front of the frilled pillows gives the light palette some depth without another pattern.
Comfortable in humid weather
It stayed comfortable through a humid spell and did not cling, and with a lighter insert it works well on the warmer nights too.
No matching cushion included
The set is beautifully finished and the ruffles are the draw, though the taupe cushion shown in the photos is not part of it.
Ruffles fuller than the photos
The gathered edges are fuller on the bed than they look in the listing, and the ivory tone matches the photographs closely.
Brass lamp works well
A warm brass reading lamp beside the bed brings out the creamy tone of the ivory, and it sits well with pale linen cushions.
It turns a plain bed into the soft centre of the room.
Folded away for summer
It stored easily when we changed to lighter bedding, though the ruffles crease and need a light press before going back on.
Ivory cotton, wide gathered ruffles, matching frilled pillows.
The wide ruffles make the bed feel softer every time I walk past at night.
Smooth cotton, generous ruffles
The cotton feels smooth and comfortable against the skin, though the ruffles make the duvet heavier to handle when changing the bed.
Right on a deep mattress
The fitted sheet reaches under the corners of our deep mattress properly, so it stays in place instead of pulling up in the night.
Gift for a friend
I gave a set to a friend for her new home and she liked it, though the ivory is a warmer tone than she had pictured.
