Extra layer in a cold week
When the cold week came we added a wool blanket over the top, and the print did not look strained.
Ivory Blue Floral Toile Cotton Bedding Set

Description
Blue floral branches and muted architectural sketches decorate an ivory ground in a delicate toile-style print. The fine lines give this cotton bedding an illustrated, vintage character without making the palette feel heavy. Soft blue details repeat across the cover and pillows, while the cotton fabric settles into easy folds around the small scenes.
Let the printed details stand out beside plain ivory curtains and light wood furniture. A pale blue throw can echo the floral branches without competing with their fine lines. Add one warm beige accessory near the bed to balance the cooler blue tones in the pattern.
- Pure cotton: Cotton fabric offers a comfortable everyday feel and natural drape.
- Pattern details: Fine blue floral branches alternate with muted architectural sketches on an ivory ground.
- Internal duvet ties: Attachment ties help secure a compatible duvet insert inside the cover.
- Room pairing: Ivory, pale blue and warm beige accents complement the detailed illustrated pattern.

Edges are neatly finished
Seams are straight on both the duvet and the shams, with the print sitting clean along the hem.
Right on a deep mattress
The whole of our deep mattress is covered, and the toile falls evenly down the two long sides.
No matching cushion included
The set has all I need and the print is charming, though the cushion shown in the photos is not included.
The toile print makes the evening feel calm and vintage.
Sizing follows the chart
The guide sizes fitted our bed, and the shams take our pillows without leaving a gap at the opening.
Warm on a humid night
Most summer evenings it stays cool and airy, though one muggy week left it feeling warmer than we would have liked.
Cotton, blue floral toile, muted architectural sketches.
Finer lines and a softer cotton than the printed set before.
Kept in the spare room
This one is on the spare bed, where the light is soft and the blue toile suits the pale walls.
Works with plain bedding
It sits well with plain blue accents and pale wood, and the fine toile lines keep the pattern light.
Softer than expected
The toile cotton is far softer than the crisp fabric I had in mind, more like a shirt that has been worn in.
Gift for a friend
I gave a friend a set for her new flat, and she liked how the toile suited her quiet bedroom.
It gives an ivory bed a vintage, illustrated feel, though the ivory marks easily.
Looks like the listing
The blue branches and the architectural sketches match the listing closely, and the lines are finer on the bed.
Cushion should stay plain
A plain cream cushion suits the toile pillows, although a patterned one competes with the sketches.
Guests liked it
Our guests said the room looked quietly vintage, though one thought the toile would suit a larger room better.
Stored away for summer
Over the summer it sat in a compact stack, though a tight pack leaves the cotton with a light crease.
Ordered another colour
I ordered a second set in a warmer tone as well, and the toile print suits both rooms.
Insert shifts slightly
Tied in it sits properly at first, though on our slick duvet the cover creeps toward the foot after a couple of nights.
