Cream cushion settles it
A plain cream cushion against the floral pillows settles the vivid colours, and the teal leaves stay the main detail.

Description
Coral flowers and little lilac clusters spread across an ivory ground, framed by clear teal leaves and stems. The stronger botanical colors give this cotton bedding a lively vintage feel. Open areas of ivory keep the pattern balanced, while the cotton fabric falls naturally into relaxed folds around the richly colored flowers.
Pair the print with plain warm beige cushions and simple wood furniture to soften its brighter notes. One teal accessory can pick up the leaves without making the room too busy. Keep the surrounding curtains and throws unprinted so the coral flowers remain the main focus.
- Pure cotton: Cotton fabric offers a comfortable everyday feel and natural drape.
- Pattern details: Coral blossoms, lilac flower clusters and teal foliage create a colorful pattern on ivory.
- Internal duvet ties: Attachment ties help secure a compatible duvet insert inside the cover.
- Room pairing: Warm beige, natural wood and a small teal accent balance the rich floral colors.

No matching cushion included
Everything I needed arrived in the box and the coral and teal print is a joy, though the cushion in the photos is sold separately.
Check the pillow size
The bed size is right, though the shams are generous and our standard pillows sit loosely inside them.
The flowers are neater and the colours brighter than the set they replaced.
Stored away for summer
All summer it lived in a stack on the shelf, and it pressed out with only a faint line where it had been folded.
Edges could be crisper
The seams are straight and the flowers cleanly printed, though the edging on one pillowcase is a touch softer.
Bought another colour
I bought a second one in a quieter colourway, and in that pairing the coral stands out far more.
Kept in the guest room
It is in the guest room where the light is gentle, but in the brighter front room the coral shouted a bit.
Good on humid nights
A damp week went by without it turning clammy, and the cotton stayed breathable on the warm nights.
Better with plain layers
Plain ivory linen and pale wood suit it best, though a patterned throw competes with the flowers.
Softer than expected
It feels softer in the hand than the photos led me to expect, more like a laundered cotton than a brand new one.
Guests liked it
Our guests called the room lively, though one reckoned the coral would work better in a bigger space.
Gift for a friend
A friend took a set for her new flat and liked the vivid flowers, which suited her bright bedroom.
Insert shifts slightly
The insert sits well inside, though the smooth cotton lets our duvet work its way down after a night or two.
Colours deeper in person
The coral comes out a touch deeper than the listing and the teal leaves read stronger once it is on the bed.
Right on a thick mattress
The fitted sheet grips our thick mattress at all four corners, and the coral and teal cover falls well past the sides.
The coral and teal flowers make the evening feel warm and vivid.
