Better with muted blue
It looks best with a muted blue accent and plain cream linen, though beside brighter colours the bands start to compete.
No matching cushion included
The set has everything I need and the bands are beautifully drawn, though the blue accent shown in the photos is not included.
Good on humid nights
A damp week passed without it turning clammy, and the cotton stayed breathable on warm nights.
Hangs well at the sides
The cover drops straight down both sides and finishes below the mattress, with the bands staying level.
Cover shifts slightly
It takes the insert well enough, though the smooth cotton lets the duvet slide down after a night or two.
Crisper motifs than the previous set, and a much softer cotton.
Soft twill against the skin
The cotton twill feels soft with a light texture against the skin and falls over the bed rather than standing up.
One plain throw only
One plain cream throw over the foot is enough, since the bands already carry the pattern.

A plain cream throw and a muted blue bedside accent settle the bands, and the ivory stretches keep the bed calm.
Back out for the cooler months
It came back out when the evenings cooled, and the cotton had kept its softness.
Ordered another colour
I ordered a second set in a quieter palette, though the bands read a little softer in that version.
Would like a deeper blue
The colours work as they are, and the only addition I would welcome is a deeper blue.
Insert needs a bit of work
Two hands are enough to work the insert through, though the opening is narrow and the far corners need easing.
The ivory stretches between the bands keep the pattern easy to live with.

The chart size came out right, and the shams take our pillows without any struggle.
