Runner should stay plain
An oat runner suits the floral bands at the foot, and a patterned one fights them.
Ivory Floral Stripe and Pink Check Cotton Bedding Set

Description
Soft floral bands alternate with fine lines on an ivory ground, while a pale pink microcheck peeks out from the turned-back cover. This cotton bedding combines small-scale detail with a gentle cottage mood. Choose the floral pillow arrangement for a closer match, or the pink and lilac check mix for a little contrast around the same printed duvet.
A plain cream throw will give the floral stripes and checks some quiet space. Light wood furniture keeps the palette warm, and a small lilac accent can tie in with the checked pillow option. Keep larger accessories simple so the mixed patterns remain easy to enjoy.
- Cotton twill: Pure cotton gives the cover an easy drape and comfortable everyday feel.
- Two-sided pattern: Floral stripes on ivory are paired with a pale pink microcheck reverse visible at the fold.
- Internal duvet ties: Eight attachment points help hold a compatible duvet insert inside the cover.
- Pillow choices: Larger sets offer floral pillows or a pink-and-lilac check mix; Small contains one patterned pillowcase.

Better with plain cream
It looks best with a plain cream throw, though beside stronger colours the pale check almost disappears.
Wish for a larger size
Lovely set with evenly printed bands, and the only gap is that our wide bed has no matching size.
Sizing follows the chart
The size chart matched, and the shams hold the pillows snugly without a gap at the opening.
The pink check peeking out at the fold is the nicest surprise.
It stays on our bed
It has stayed on our main bed since spring, and the floral bands suit the plain walls in that room.
Hangs well at the sides
Both sides hang straight to just below the mattress, and the bands keep an even line.
Best in the milder months
Spring and summer suit it with a light quilt, and the hottest stretch called for a thinner cover.
Looks like the listing
Print and colour are faithful to the listing, and the ivory looks slightly warmer once it is on the bed.
Cotton twill, floral bands, pale pink microcheck reverse.
The floral stripes make the corner of the room feel cottage-like, though the ivory marks easily.
Extra layer in a cold week
In the coldest week a wool blanket went over the quilt, and the twill took it without the bands pulling.
Bands align mostly
The bands sit evenly across the duvet and shams, though one seam cuts a floral trail slightly off centre.
Gift for a housewarming
I sent a set as a housewarming present and they liked it, though the pink check came out paler in their room.
My sister asked about it
My sister saw ours on a visit and asked for the details, then ordered the same floral stripe set.
Right with a light insert
Over a light insert it sits nicely, though our heavy winter duvet stretches the corners a little.
The floral bands are finer and the check paler than the photos suggested.
