The set has everything I need and the striped panels are a lovely detail, though the textured cushion in the photos is not included.
Stored away neatly
It folds into a small stack when we change bedding for the season, and the washed cotton came out of the cupboard without hard creases.
Gift for a friend
I sent a set to a friend for her new flat and she likes the striped pillow detail, which gives the bed a little interest.
Good on humid nights
It stayed comfortable through a humid spell and did not cling, and with a lighter insert it works well on the warmer nights too.
Insert stays in place
The cover holds the insert well and the corners stay filled, so the reverse does not roll back on itself during the night.
Slightly large for our bed
The duvet size works for us, though it measures a little more generously than our last set, so the sides hang lower.
Ordered a second colour
I bought the darker version after a season with the first, and the two sets cover different rooms without clashing in style.
Edges and seams are neat
The contrasting reverse folds back along a straight seam and the striped pillow panels are stitched evenly, with no puckering.
The folded-back duvet adds depth at night, though the pale cotton shows creases quickly.
Works with plain bedding
It sits well with a plain linen throw and a light wooden table, and the striped pillow panels give the bed a small graphic accent.

I expected a crisper washed cotton and it is much softer on the skin, closer to something worn for a season than new bedding.

Fine on a deep mattress
The fitted sheet reaches under the corners of our deep mattress comfortably, and the duvet is generous enough to hang well on both sides.
