Easy care, keeps its softness
It washes simply and stays soft, though the knit holds a few creases out of the machine and looks better shaken out.
Getting into bed feels easier with the soft knit against the skin at night.
Looks like the listing
The stripes are the same fine spacing as the listing and the natural cotton is a shade warmer in person, which suits the room.
On the bed most of the year
It has stayed on from spring through to autumn and comes out again in mild winters, and it folds down small between seasons.
Quiet from afar, textured close
From across the room it reads as plain pale bedding, and the fine stripes and knit texture only show once you are near the bed.
Natural cotton jersey, fine stripes, stretchy t-shirt softness.
Insert stays in place
The cover holds the insert well and the corners stay filled, so the knitted stripes run straight rather than slipping sideways.
It brings a slow-morning softness to the bed without any decoration.
Keep the room plain
It looks best with plain pale bedding and a simple lamp, since the natural stripes already give the knit its only pattern.
A crease from the box
It arrived with a light fold across the duvet that dropped out after a night or two, so there was nothing to send back about.

A friend asked about the striped bedding when she stayed, though she was surprised to hear how stretchy the jersey knit feels.
Softer than our old set
It is far softer than the cotton bedding we replaced and covers the mattress well, though the jersey is stretchier than we expected.
