Description
Fine gathered edges add a gentle decorative outline to this lyocell bedding. The plain fabric has a softly lustrous appearance, with folds that catch the light across the duvet and pillows. Its simple surface keeps the ruffles from feeling too ornate, offering a relaxed way to bring a little softness and detail into an otherwise uncluttered bedroom.
Layer the bedding with a small plain cushion and a softly textured throw. Pale wood and a simple ceramic lamp work well beside its fluid-looking folds, while keeping additional patterns to a minimum gives the gathered edges room to stand out.
- Lyocell fabric: A softly lustrous surface gives the bedding a smooth-looking finish, with gentle changes in tone across the folds.
- Gathered borders: Fine ruffles outline the pillowcases and duvet edge, creating a soft decorative detail without a bold printed pattern.
- Plain surface: An uncluttered fabric design makes the gathered trim the focus and works naturally with textured cushions or throws.
- Relaxed drape: Loose folds give the bed an inviting shape, balancing the refined appearance of the fabric with easy everyday styling.

Better than our previous set
I ordered the same size as our previous bedding and this one finally covers the mattress properly, where the old cover always slipped.
One crease from packing
It arrived with a light fold across the duvet that settled after a couple of nights, so there was nothing to send back.
Bought another after gifting
I gave one away and then ordered the same set for ourselves, because the plain colour suits both a modern and an older room.
The soft sheen and the gentle ruffles make the evening feel calmer.
Lies flat once made
Once the insert is in and the bed is made, the cover lies flat and the ruffled border falls softly rather than standing away.
She asked for the link herself
I gave a set to my sister for her new flat and she asked for the link herself to buy another one for the guest room.
Looks like the listing
The sheen and the gathered edging match the listing closely, and the neutral tone is a shade warmer in person.
Detail shows up close
From across the room the bed reads as plainly coloured with a soft sheen, and the gathered edges only become clear up close.
Cover holds the insert
The cover sits snugly over the insert and the corners stay filled, so the gathered edge keeps its shape instead of sagging.
A friend asked for the link
A friend asked where the bedding was from when she stayed, though she wanted the details for a larger bed than this covers.
Softly lustrous lyocell, fine gathered edges, pale neutral tone.
Held up after washing
It came through a cool wash with the sheen still even and the ruffles still flat, and it feels softer than it did before.
Keep the room simple
It looks best with pale wood and a simple ceramic lamp, since the gathered edges alone are enough detail for the bed.
It gives a plain bed a soft outline with very little fuss.
On the bed most of the year
It stays on from spring into autumn and folds away neatly for the warm months, so it earns the shelf space it takes.
Used most of the year
It goes on in spring and stays through autumn, and with a heavier insert underneath it still works for the cooler weeks.
Best in the warmer months
It is lovely through spring and summer, though in a cold snap we needed another layer on top to stay warm enough.
