Description
A softly flecked oat-ivory ground gives the Marchbrook bedding set a warm, collected look, while flowing ruffles traced in black piping add crisp definition.
Woven in cotton double gauze, the coordinated duvet cover, flat sheet and pillowcases balance an airy, relaxed texture with a romantic cottage-inspired silhouette.
- Cotton Double Gauze: An all-cotton double-gauze construction creates a softly textured, breathable feel.
- Ruffled Edges: Gathered ruffles frame the duvet cover and pillowcases with a romantic finish.
- Black Piping: Dark contrast edging traces the layered silhouette with clean definition.
- Oat Ivory Color: A warm ivory base with subtle dark flecks brings depth to the neutral palette.
- Coordinated Set: Matching pieces create a complete, layered bed presentation.

Cotton double gauze, flowing ruffles, black piped edging.
My sister asked about it
My sister asked where the bedding was from when she stayed, and she has since ordered the same set for her own room.
Added a set for the guest room
I ordered a second set for the guest room, though the second one arrived with slightly firmer ruffles before washing.
Pale wood suits it
It looks best with pale wood and plain linen, and the black piping gives the soft ivory ground a clear outline.
The oat ivory with black piping is warmer than I expected, in a good way.
Runner should stay plain
A plain cream runner across the foot suits the black piping, though a patterned runner competes with the ruffles.
Soft but a little dry at first
The gauze feels soft on the skin and slightly dry for the first few nights, and it has relaxed further since then.
Gift for a housewarming
I gave a set as a housewarming gift and it suited their cottage-style room straight away, so it made an easy present.
Wish for a larger size
The set is charming and the piping is neatly done, and the only thing I would add is a larger size for our wider bed.
Good between seasons
It works through spring and early autumn with a light quilt, and with a heavier insert underneath it still suits the cooler weeks.
The ruffles are fuller and the gauze softer in person than the preview suggested.
Ruffles vary slightly
The black piping follows the ruffles evenly around the duvet and the pillowcases, though one pillowcase ruffle is a fraction wider.
