Description
Little trailing flowers make this pale cotton bedding feel like a quiet garden brought indoors. The embroidered borders follow the edges of the duvet and pillows, leaving generous areas of plain fabric between them. Soft folds keep the decorative stitching from feeling formal, making this an inviting choice for a bedroom with a gentle, collected character.
Place a muted green cushion in front of the pillows to pick up the leaves in the embroidery. A warm oak bedside table gives the pale cotton a little contrast, and its solid surface balances the delicate scale of the stitched flowers.
- Cotton fabric: Softly draped cotton gives the bed an easy, comfortable foundation without requiring a perfectly smooth arrangement.
- Floral borders: Small flowers and leafy stems trace the edges, bringing delicate decoration to the duvet and pillows.
- Open ground: Generous areas of plain pale fabric keep the embroidery light and make the bedding easy to layer with solid colors.
- Coordinated pillows: Matching stitched borders carry the floral detail across the head of the bed for a considered, cohesive arrangement.

Soft cotton with fine stitching
The cotton feels soft and lightly textured in the hand, and the embroidery sits flat rather than feeling raised or stiff.
My partner likes the border
My partner usually ignores bedding and he likes the trailing border along the pillow edges, saying it makes the bed look finished.
One plain throw is enough
A plain cream throw across the foot is all the layering this needs, since the embroidered border already carries the detail.
Better in the morning
It looks crisp in the morning in daylight, though with the lamp on in the evening the pale cotton reads a little flat.
Sizing matched the guide
I used the size guide and the cover fitted our bed as the measurements suggested, with the pillows properly covered by the shams.
Would like a deeper colour
The set is exactly the look I wanted and the stitching is delicate, and the only thing I would add is a deeper sage option.
Green cushion echoes the leaves
A muted green cushion against the pillows picks up the leaves in the embroidery, and the warm oak table contrasts with the pale cotton.
Gift for my mother
I gave a set to my mother for her birthday and she liked how the small stitched flowers suit her traditional bedroom.
The embroidered border is the nicest detail, though the pale cotton marks easily.
Pale cotton, trailing embroidered flowers, generous plain ground.
The trailing flowers along the border make the morning feel like a quiet garden.
Best in the milder months
It works well through spring and autumn, though in the warmest weeks we found the cotton a little much for the nights.
The flowers are finer and the cotton softer than the printed set it replaced.
Stored away for summer
It folded into a compact stack over summer, though the cotton holds a light crease if the stack is packed under anything heavy.
