Back out for spring
It came out of the cupboard at the start of spring and has stayed on the bed since, and the cotton had not yellowed in storage.

Description
Pale cotton and delicate floral borders give this bedding a gentle, quietly romantic character. The plain main fabric keeps the little flowers from feeling busy, while the softly folded edges reveal another layer of decoration. It is the kind of bedding that makes a simply furnished room feel more personal, with enough detail to enjoy without a strongly patterned backdrop.
For the pink version, add one muted green cushion to echo the leaves along the floral border. A pale oak bedside table brings a little warmth to the light cotton, and its simple shape balances the more decorative outline of the pillows.
- Cotton fabric: Soft folds give the bedding a relaxed appearance that feels at home in an inviting, loosely arranged bedroom.
- Floral borders: Delicate flowers decorate the edges, adding a gentle pattern while leaving the main fabric calm and open.
- Pale palette: Light, understated colors keep the decorative details easy to combine with warm wood and simple upholstered furniture.
- Coordinated pillows: Matching border details bring the arrangement together at the head of the bed without requiring additional patterned layers.

Used mostly in spring
It suits spring and early summer best in our room, though in the deeper winter months we swap to something with more weight.
Would like a deeper colour
The set is lovely and the border is the nicest detail, and the only thing I would add is a slightly deeper colour option.
Insert goes in easily
The opening is wide enough to work the duvet insert through without a struggle, and the cover sits smoothly once it is closed.
Pale cotton, delicate floral border, softly folded edges.
Colour close to the listing
The pale cotton and the floral border are very close to the listing, and the folded edges are a little softer in person.
Mornings feel gentler with the floral border, though the pale cotton needs a shake to sit flat.
Bought one in pink too
I liked it enough to order the pink version as well, though the pink reads slightly warmer in person than the photos suggested.
Better with pale oak
It looks best with our pale oak bedside table and simple accessories, though beside dark furniture the pale cotton reads rather plain.
Sent one to my mother
I sent a set to my mother and she liked how the floral border suits her traditional bedroom, so it was a good choice for her.
Soft but fine cotton
The cotton feels soft and light on the skin, though it is a thinner fabric than our previous set and shows the mattress edges.
Border printed cleanly
The little flowers along the border are crisp and evenly spaced on the duvet and the pillowcases, with the plain centre left empty.
My partner likes the border
My partner usually ignores bedding and he noticed the floral border along the pillows, which he said made the bed look finished.
Fine on a standard bed
It fits our standard double cleanly, though on the guest bed with a topper the fitted sheet pulls slightly at the corners.
The floral border along the edge is what makes a plain bed feel personal.
Sizing matched the guide
I followed the size guide and the cover fitted our bed as the measurements suggested, with the pillows properly covered.
