Smaller pattern than expected
The pattern is smaller in scale than the photos suggested, which I actually prefer, though it is worth knowing.
Even knit, neat edge
The diamond knit is even across the whole throw and the contrast edge is stitched neatly all the way round.
Clears the floor on a king bed
It drapes across the foot of a king bed properly and the tassels clear the floor on both sides.
Nice throw, though the contrast edge is subtler than it looks online.

Tassels recovered after a day
Lovely throw. The tassels arrived slightly crimped from the packaging, but they straightened out after a day.
Closer to brushed cotton
The fleece is soft and breathable, closer to brushed cotton than to a heavy pile.
Textures that cooperate
It layers over a plain blanket nicely and the two patterns do not fight each other at all.
The weave is tidier than the throw it replaced, and much less scratchy.
Lives on the reading chair
It lives on the reading chair in the corner and gets used every single evening without fail.
