Works on a chair too
It works over a linen armchair as well as the sofa, which I did not expect from a throw this size.

Softer and much better printed than the last fleece throw I bought.
Right size for two
Big enough for two of us on the sofa and small enough to fold onto the arm of a chair afterwards.
Stops the bed looking bare
On the bed it sits at the foot over a plain duvet, and the leaf print is what stops the bed looking bare.
Second one for the guest room
Ordered a second one for the guest room after living with the first for about a month.
The print does the decorating
Pale walls, a linen sofa and this throw is enough. The print does the decorating without any extra cushions.
Bought one for my mother-in-law
Bought one for my mother-in-law and it has ended up on her reading chair, which she never lets anyone else use.
Hand-drawn, not tiled
It spreads unevenly in a good way — the leaves look hand-drawn rather than repeated on a grid.
No shedding on dark clothes
The fleece is soft and smooth rather than fluffy, and it has not shed anything onto dark clothes so far.
Warm without clamminess
Warm for its weight and it does not feel clammy in a warm room, which is why it stays out most of the year.
Mostly a sofa blanket
For us it is mostly a sofa blanket. It is a little light to use as the only layer on a winter bed.
Layers with a plain throw
It layers over a plain throw without the two competing, which was my main worry with a printed blanket.
Light, soft, organic print.
Thrown over the reading chair it makes the corner feel considered.
Generous across a king bed
It covers the foot of our king bed generously and drapes properly at both sides without pulling short.
Printed, not woven
Lovely piece. The pattern is printed rather than woven, so up close you can see the print sitting on the fleece surface.
More of a top layer
Light enough for most of the year. In the coldest weeks it works more as a top layer than as real warmth.
Friend asked about it
A friend asked where it came from the first evening she sat on our sofa, which is the best test I know for a throw.
Calmer than the photos
The leaf pattern is finer and less contrasty than in the photos, so it reads calmer in the room than I expected.
Soft, light, and the leaf print is subtle enough to live with.
