It suits a bedroom with wooden furniture and no fuss at all.
Fine on a thick mattress
Our mattress is on the deeper side and the fitted sheet still tucks in properly, so there is no lifting at the corners in the night.
Insert slides in easily
The opening is wide enough to work the insert through without a struggle, and once it is in the cover sits smoothly over the filling.
Caramel is close to the listing
Caramel and beige are very close to the listing, and the tones look slightly warmer in our bedroom light than they do on screen.
Soft from the first night
The brushed cotton feels soft and slightly fuzzy right out of the pack, with none of the crispness that new cotton sometimes has.
Out again for the cooler months
It went into the cupboard over summer and came back out at the start of autumn, and the brushed surface had not gone flat in storage.
Plain surface, neat ties
There is no print at all, just a soft brushed surface, and the pillowcase ties give the plain set a small tailored finish at the corners.
Sizing was straightforward
I ordered by the size guide and the cover fitted our bed the way the measurements suggested, with the duvet hanging evenly on both sides.
Made for wood furniture
It looks made for our wooden bed frame and simple linen lamp, and the warm neutrals sit easily beside the rattan chair in the corner.
Beige throw on caramel
A beige knitted throw folded at the foot sits softly beside the caramel base, and the two warm tones layer without competing.
Making the bed in the morning feels calm with these warm neutral tones.
Fits our deep mattress
The fitted sheet covers our deep mattress without slipping off the corners, and the flat option we used in the spare room fitted just as well.
The brushed finish makes it feel warm from the first night, though it creases if folded damp.

I bought the beige version after living with the caramel one, and the two sets together cover the whole year between them.
Would like a green option
The caramel and beige are exactly what I wanted, and the only thing I would add is a softer green option for our guest bedroom.

In the morning the brushed cotton feels warm when the room is cool, and at night it still breathes well with a light quilt on top.

I sent a set to my parents for their anniversary and they were pleased, though I should have checked their bed size before ordering it.
