Insert does not slide
The corner ties and the hidden zipper keep the insert in place, and the duvet stays even across the bed rather than slipping to one end.

Description
The Vibe: Soft Pastel Romance · Gentle Gingham · Everyday Cottagecore
Petal brings a quiet, feminine softness to the bedroom — a blush pink duvet paired with a delicate windowpane check, styled the way a sunlit vintage room feels. It's the kind of set that makes an ordinary morning feel a little more tender.
Key Features
- Pure Cotton Comfort: Made from 100% pure cotton that feels soft against skin and breathes easily through the night.
- Soft Gingham Check: A gentle windowpane plaid grounds the blush pink duvet with quiet, classic texture.
- Secure Duvet Fit: Corner ties and a hidden zipper keep the insert in place, wash after wash.
- Complete Set: Includes duvet cover, bed sheet (flat or fitted), and matching pillowcase(s), sized to fit your bed.
Styling Tips
Layer Petal with a cream or ivory throw at the foot of the bed, and let a single stem in a small vase on the nightstand echo the soft pink tone. Pair with warm wood furniture to balance the pastel palette and keep the room feeling lived-in rather than overly sweet.

The pale pink by lamplight is soothing, though the check disappears once the light is low.
No extra pillowcase option
The set is well made and the colours are lovely, and the only gap is that extra pillowcases are not sold separately for a spare pair.
Guests liked it, one note
Our guests said the room felt calm with this set on the bed, though one thought the check was almost invisible in low light.
Used in the smaller bedroom
It lives in the smaller bedroom where the light is gentle, though in the brighter front room the pink looked a little pale.
It makes an ordinary morning feel softer without being fussy.
Texture plainer than photos
The surface looks slightly more textured in the photographs than on the bed, where the cotton is quite smooth and matte in daylight.
Good with warm wood
It sits well with our warm wooden bedside table and a small vase with a single stem, and the palette stays calm rather than sugary.
Zipper and ties are neat
The hidden zipper sits flush along the base and the corner ties are stitched in firmly, so nothing shows along the edge of the duvet.
Fine on humid nights
It has stayed comfortable through a humid stretch this summer and breathes well, with none of the stickiness we had with our old set.
Stored through the summer
It folded away for the summer months, and the cotton does hold a couple of soft creases if it is stacked under heavier bedding.
Fits our thick mattress
The fitted sheet covers our thick mattress without pulling off the corners, and the flat sheet version in the spare room works just as well.
Gift for a friend
I gave one to a friend for her new flat and she liked it, though the check is subtler than she had imagined from the photograph.
Ordered a second for our daughter
After a month with ours I ordered the same set for our daughter's room, and the pink suits her space just as well as it does ours.
Better quality than expected
I expected a thin printed cotton and the fabric has a proper weight and a soft finish, so it feels better than the photographs suggested.
Cream throw balances the pink
A cream throw folded at the foot softens the blush without hiding the check, and the pale tone keeps the pastel from tipping sweet.
Pure cotton, blush pink duvet, fine windowpane check.
The blush pink is a little deeper in person than the listing, though still close.
Softer after the first wash
The cotton softened after the first wash and the pink has not faded, though it comes out of the machine fairly creased and needs a shake.
