Warmer and softer than our old striped set, though slightly heavier to fold.

Description
Rich red and fine cream stripes give this plush bedding a cheerful, slightly nostalgic character. The narrow lines keep the bold color feeling ordered, while the softly piled surface adds depth as the fabric falls into folds. Matching striped pillowcases carry the look up to the head of the bed, making this an easy centerpiece for a warm-toned room.
Place a plain caramel cushion in front of the striped pillows to soften the red with a neighboring warm shade. A small dark wooden bedside table gives the vivid bedding a grounded companion, and its smooth finish contrasts neatly with the visible pile of the fabric.
- Plush surface: A fine, dense pile gives the bedding a softly textured finish, with gentle changes of light across the folds.
- Red pinstripes: Cream lines run across a rich red ground, adding a clear pattern while keeping the overall design simple.
- Internal ties: Corner ties inside the duvet cover help hold the insert in place beneath the plush striped surface.
- Matching pillows: Striped pillowcases extend the duvet design to the head of the bed, working well beside a plain warm-colored cushion.

Lies flat once made
After the insert is in and the bed is made, the cover lies flat with no ripples, and the corners stay square through the week.
Smaller than our last duvet
It covers our mattress fine, though it measures a little smaller than the set we replaced, so the sides hang slightly higher than before.
Layering needs care
The striped duvet is bold enough on its own and a pale throw at the foot is all it takes, though a second pattern quickly looks busy.
Bolder from across the room
From the doorway the red reads as a solid warm block, and the fine cream lines only register once you are standing beside the bed.
Cheerful red stripes, though the cream lines are finer than I pictured.
Colour is like the photos
The red is as rich as the listing shows and the cream pinstripes are the same fine width on the bed, so nothing about the look surprised me.
Comfortable all year
With a lighter insert in summer and a heavier one in winter the same cover has worked through the year, and the plush never feels clammy.
Cover wraps the insert evenly
The cover takes our insert with room to spare and the corners stay filled, so the stripes run straight and the duvet does not slide inside.
Bought one for myself after gifting
I gave a set to my sister-in-law and liked it so much on her bed that I ordered the same red pinstripe for our spare room.
Gift was well received
The friend I sent this to loved the red, though I had to ask her bed size after ordering and luckily the standard size fitted.
On the bed from autumn to spring
It has been on the bed from October through to April and folds away neatly for the summer months without taking much shelf space.
The red lifts the whole bedroom and makes the colder mornings feel warmer.
My mother asked for the link
My mother saw the red stripes when she visited and asked for the link before she had even finished her tea, so it clearly made an impression.
Softer after the first wash
The pile felt dense out of the bag and it has come up softer after a cool wash, with no pilling and the cream stripes still sharp.
Caramel cushion softens the red
A plain caramel cushion in front of the striped pillows softens the red without fighting it, and the dark bedside table keeps the room grounded.
Almost perfect
I really love how soft this is, but the color was a little more muted in person than I expected. Still gorgeous and super comfortable, just a heads up on the color.
Absolutely love it! Transformed my room into a super cozy and aesthetic space. The velvet material is everything.
Super Cozy.
My new favorite bedding set. It's really warm, perfect for the fall semester. The stripes are a nice touch.
Warm and Stylish
This is the warmest comforter set I've ever owned. The pinstripe design is chic and not overwhelming. My cat loves it too, he hasn't left the bed since I put it on.
Nice set. Good material.
So incredibly soft!
I'm obsessed. This bedding is exactly the vibe I was going for in my dorm room. It's so soft and warm, feels like a hug. The color is a perfect vintage red. Looks just like the pictures!
So soft and doesn't shed which is a plus. The color is rich and looks great with my dark wood furniture. Washes well too.
Great quality for the price. It feels very luxurious and has completely changed the feel of my bedroom. Highly recommend for a cozy, indie look.
