Much softer than the fleece set we replaced, and the pattern is far less busy.
Evenings at the foot of the bed
We read at the foot of the bed most evenings, and the fleece stays warm against bare ankles even once the room has cooled down.
The bows at the pillow edges are the detail that makes the whole bed.
Please make it in more shades
The set itself is lovely and has washed up well, and my only wish is a green or grey version so I could use the same pattern in our other room.
Pale blue, short soft pile, small dark dots, neat bows.
Easy next to pale oak
The blue lifts the pale oak bedside table nicely and a plain cream cushion is enough beside the dots. I only wish the border were a shade deeper.
Waking up to the small dark dots under the duvet still makes me smile.
Folds away compactly
When we swapped to lighter bedding in spring it folded into a neat stack on the shelf, and it came back out in autumn without any set creases.
Bought a second for the guest room
I ordered the same blue again for the spare room. The only small thing is that the second pillowcase pair feels a touch thinner than the first.

I expected the blue to be brighter than the pictures, and it is the same soft powder tone on our bed, with the dots reading darker in person.

The pile is short and even rather than shaggy, so it reads velvety in the hand, and it has not flattened where we sit against it each night.
Layers without hiding the dots
I folded a cream waffle throw across the foot of the bed, and the pale pile underneath still shows through, so the dotted pattern never disappears.

This bedding set is even cuter in person. The black ruffles and the little bow ties on the pillows give it such a coquette vibe. The flannel is super thick and warm, perfect for winter nights.
