Used in the main bedroom
It lives in our main bedroom and suits the soft light there, though in the darker back room the pale shade looked a little washed out.
Finer and less frilly than other embroidered sets we have had, though it needs ironing.

A plain cream throw at the foot is all the layering this needs, since the scalloped edge and the embroidery are already the detail.

Flat with a slight crease
It lies flat across the mattress once it is made, though the washed cotton keeps a soft crease at the fold that a quick press removes.

The cover fits snugly over our insert and the corners stay filled, so the scalloped edges keep their shape instead of sagging.
One fold mark from the box
It arrived with a light storage fold across the duvet and it had mostly dropped out after two nights, so it was not worth sending back.
On the bed for most of the year
It stays on from early spring into autumn and comes out again in mild winters, though the coldest months call for something heavier.
Quietly romantic, though the ink white needs a little more care than plain bedding.
