Housewarming present
I took one to a housewarming and the couple were pleased with it, though I should have asked about their colour scheme beforehand.

Description
Muted green plaid and little embroidered flowers give this bed a gentle, nostalgic character. Cream panels break up the fine checks, leaving space for the small floral details to stand out without making the room feel busy. Cotton double gauze brings a soft, relaxed texture that suits the quiet palette, creating a bed that feels comfortably lived in and thoughtfully dressed.
Place a cream knitted throw across the foot of the bed to echo the pale panels; its larger stitches contrast with the fine grid. A warm wood bedside table picks up the softer beige notes in the plaid and gives the cool green fabric a welcoming companion.
- Double gauze cotton: The soft, relaxed texture gives the patterned bedding a comfortable everyday feel without a stiff, formal finish.
- Floral embroidery: Small stitched flowers add a delicate point of interest against the cream panels, bringing a gentle decorative touch.
- Balanced plaid: Muted green checks and pale panels keep the pattern varied while leaving room for simple accessories alongside it.
- Matching pillowcases: Coordinated plaid and embroidered panels carry the duvet's design through to the pillows for a cohesive bed.

Pleasant for a guest room, though the cream panels show marks sooner than I hoped.
Much softer and less formal than the checked cotton set it replaced.
No matching throw offered
The set has everything I need and the embroidery is a lovely touch, and the only gap is that no matching throw is sold alongside it.
Cream cushion softens the checks
A plain cream cushion in front of the checked pillows breaks up the grid, and its colour repeats the pale panels across the duvet.
Works with our rattan furniture
It sits happily with the rattan bedside table and a cream throw, and the muted green picks up the softer tones in the room without clashing.
Warm for a cotton set
It breathes well in the milder weeks of spring and autumn, though on a humid July night it felt warmer than we wanted for summer.
Softer than plain cotton
I expected a crisper cotton and the double gauze is much softer and more relaxed, closer to well-worn bedding than something brand new.
Double gauze cotton, muted green plaid, cream panels, small embroidery.
Turning down the bed at night feels gentler with the plaid and the little flowers.
Texture matches the description
The double gauze has the soft, slightly crinkled texture the listing describes, and the muted green is a little softer in person than on screen.
Sent to my sister
I sent a set to my sister for her new place and she likes it, though I misjudged the size and she had to swap it for a larger one.
Edges are neatly finished
The cream panels break up the fine checks, and the seams between the plaid and the plain sections are straight with no puckering.
Sits well on a deep mattress
It covers our deep mattress with room to spare, and the duvet hangs evenly on both sides rather than riding up on one edge.
Stored without creasing
It folded into a small stack for the summer and came out looking fine. The gauze does hold a light fold if the stack is squashed tightly.
Bought the cream one as well
After using the green plaid for a season I ordered the cream version for our own room, and both sets work with the same wooden furniture.
Guests said it felt like home
The friends who stayed last month said the plaid and the little embroidered flowers made the room feel like a country house rather than a hotel.
Insert shifts a little
The cover takes the duvet well overall, though the gauze is smooth and the insert drifts down by a few inches over a night or two.
Deep pockets on a thick bed
Our mattress is thick and the fitted sheet still reaches under the corners comfortably, so there is no fight with it in the morning.
It suits the small back bedroom
It lives in the small back bedroom where the light is soft all day, and the muted green plaid looks calm against the pale walls there.
Worth every penny
I was worried the patchwork might feel rough at the seams, but you can't feel it at all. It's seamless and smooth. The combination of the plaid and the little flowers brings so much joy to my room.

Very pretty, color is accurate
The green is a lovely muted shade, exactly like the photos. The embroidery is high quality and hasn't frayed after a wash. Taking off one star just because shipping took a little longer than expected, but the product itself is amazing.

Perfect Cottagecore Aesthetic
I've been looking for the perfect bedding to match my vintage room decor, and this is it. The sage green plaid combined with the floral embroidery is just darling. The washed cotton feels incredibly soft against the skin, not stiff at all.

Honestly the softest duvet cover I've ever bought. It has that nice "lived-in" feeling right out of the package. The wooden buttons are a really cute detail too. Highly recommend!

Such a cozy set. It keeps me warm but breathes well so I don't overheat. Love it.
