Description
The Vibe: Soft Ruffled Romance · Garden Floral Charm · Airy Cottage Comfort
Solenne brings an unhurried, garden-picked softness to the bedroom. Double-gauze cotton drapes with a naturally crinkled texture, while delicate ruffle trim and hand-painted florals lend a quiet, lived-in elegance. It's the kind of bedding that feels like a slow Sunday morning.
Key Features
- Double-Gauze Cotton: Breathable pure cotton gauze with a naturally crinkled texture that softens with every wash.
- Ruffle Trim Detail: Delicate ruffled edges add a romantic, vintage-inspired finish to every piece.
- Painterly Floral Print: Soft floral artwork brings an unfussy garden charm to the whole set.
- Year-Round Comfort: Lightweight yet cozy layering that works from spring through cool nights.
Styling Tips
Layer the ruffled sham against a plain headboard for contrast, or pair with a chunky knit throw at the foot of the bed to balance the airy gauze texture. Petal Cream suits warm wood tones and brass accents; Dusty Blue pairs naturally with linen curtains and dried florals.

Soft but needs a day to settle
The gauze feels soft and breathable against the skin, though it needs a night or two on the bed before the creases settle.
Partner likes it, ruffle aside
My partner likes how light it is to sleep under, though he finds the ruffle on the pillowcases a little fussy when making the bed.
Keep the layering simple
A plain knit throw at the foot balances the airy gauze, though a second pattern on top quickly makes the bed feel busy.
A fold mark from packing
It arrived with a light fold across the duvet that took a few days to settle, though the set itself is beautifully made.
Quiet from afar, detailed close
From across the room it reads as soft pale bedding, and the tiny florals and ruffle stitching only show once you are near the bed.
Petal cream suits warm wood
The petal cream works beautifully with our warm wooden furniture, and with a plain headboard behind it the ruffles stand out softly.
Print matches the photos
The painterly florals are the same scale and softness as the listing, and the ruffles are a little fuller on the bed than on screen.
It feels lighter and prettier than our old cotton set, though it creases more.
A friend wanted the link
A friend saw the floral when she stayed and asked where it was from before breakfast, and she has since ordered the dusty blue for her flat.
The soft ruffle under the quilt makes the room feel gentler in the evening.
Easy to look after
It washes up easily and comes out of the machine already looking relaxed, so there is no ironing needed with the crinkled finish.
Ordered a second after gifting
I gave one away and then ordered the same set for us, though the second one arrived with a slightly different shade of petal cream.
Flat but naturally crinkled
It lies flat across the mattress once the bed is made, though the gauze creases and never looks completely smooth.
Softer in the wash
The double gauze was soft from the start and has softened with every wash, and the crinkled texture has stayed rather than flattening.
It makes the bed feel like a slow Sunday morning.
Works from spring onwards
It goes on in spring and stays through to early autumn, and with a heavy insert underneath it still works for the cooler weeks.
She asked for the link
I gave a set to my cousin when she moved, and she was asking for the link herself the same evening to buy it in dusty blue.
Airy gauze, soft ruffles, painterly florals, though it creases easily.
Cover keeps the insert in place
The cover sits snugly over our insert and the corners stay filled, so the ruffle edge keeps its shape instead of sagging.
On the bed most of the year
It stays on from early spring into autumn and comes out again in mild winters, though in the coldest months we need something warmer.
Better made than our old set
I ordered the same size as our previous bedding and this one finally covers the mattress properly, where the old cover always slipped off a corner.
Fine in every season
With a light quilt in summer and a heavier insert in winter the same cover has worked all year, and the gauze never feels heavy.
