A calm pair of colour blocks, though the black is very black.

Description
Black and pale blue make an unexpectedly calm pair here. The dark face gives the bed depth, while the light reverse brings a cool, open feeling around the pillows and folded edge. Cotton keeps the touch familiar and soft, with a gently relaxed surface that suits a bedroom built around solid colors rather than decorative patterns.
Set a plain ice-blue cushion against the darker pillows to repeat the light reverse. A walnut bedside table adds warm grain beside the smooth cotton, softening the cool palette without competing with the broad blocks of black and blue.
- Cotton comfort: The cotton fabric offers a soft, familiar hand with a relaxed surface that works well in an everyday bedroom.
- Two-tone design: A black face and pale blue reverse create a strong but uncomplicated contrast across the bed.
- Solid-color styling: The absence of a printed motif makes this bedding easy to pair with patterned rugs or textured bedroom accessories.
- Coordinated surfaces: Related dark and light tones across the duvet and pillows create a connected arrangement without extra decorative trims.

Would like the flat sheet alone
Really pleased. I would like the same pairing in a flat sheet sold separately, which is the only gap.
Cotton, black and pale blue.
The black side makes the bed feel like it is settling down for the night.
Insert stays put
The insert stays put through the night and the cover has not needed straightening.
Folds small for storage
It folds down small and stores on a shelf, which is more than I can say for the fleece sets.
Two cushions is fussy
The ice-blue cushion repeats the reverse nicely, though two cushions start to feel fussy.
Does not cling in humidity
It stays comfortable in humid weather and does not cling the way polyester bedding can.
Relaxed surface, not crisp
The cotton has a slightly relaxed surface rather than the crisp look of the photos, which I prefer.
Folded edge shows the blue
The seams are straight and the folded edge shows the pale blue reverse neatly all along the pillows.
For a friend's new flat
Bought a set for a friend's new flat and she has kept it on the bed ever since.
Depth without straining
Medium fits our double bed and the depth suits a deep mattress without straining at the corners.
Softer than expected
Softer and smoother than I expected from a solid cotton set, and it has softened further since.
Bought another colour
Bought the same set in another colour after this one, which probably says enough.
Guest ordered the same
A guest asked where the bedding came from and has since ordered the same pairing.
Depth for a thick mattress
The fitted option has enough depth for our thick mattress and has not come loose at a corner.
Suits a north-facing room
It lives in the guest room, where the cool palette suits the north-facing light surprisingly well.
Pairs with white, not cream
It works with our white bedding, though it does not mix well with the cream set we use in autumn.
Good for a spare room that needs to look grown up, though it is quite dark.
Deeper black and a cooler blue than the photos, which looks calmer on the bed.
Perfect contrast!
I'm obsessed with how this looks in my room. The black side is super sleek, but the blue adds such a nice pop of color when I fold it back. The cotton is really soft too, feels high quality.
Honestly feels like sleeping in a cloud. The material isn't too heavy, so it's perfect for me since I get hot easily at night. The black color doesn't fade either.
Best bedding I've bought in a while. Super soft and breathable. Exactly the vibe I was looking for.
Great colors
The colors are exactly like the photos. The blue is a very cool, icy tone. It does get a bit wrinkled after washing, but that's expected with this fabric. Still love it.
Bought this for my son's dorm room and he loves it. It washes well and gives the room a very clean, modern look without being too boring.
