Slightly large for our bed
It covers the mattress properly and the drape is lovely, though it measures a little more generously than the set we replaced.

One crease from packing
It arrived with a light fold across the duvet that settled after a couple of nights, so there was nothing to send back.
Lies flat once made
Once the insert is in and the bed is made, the cover lies flat and the knit sits evenly rather than bunching at the sides.
Brushed jersey knit, muted earthy tones, soft stretchy feel.
Stored away for summer
Over the warm months it sat folded on the shelf and came out with only a faint line where the knit had been doubled.
One plain layer only
A plain cream throw across the foot is all the layering this needs, and the knit keeps the bed looking relaxed rather than styled.
Used through spring and autumn
It goes on in spring and stays into autumn, and with a heavier insert underneath it still works for the cooler weeks.
She asked for the link herself
I gave a set to my sister and she asked for the link herself, though she chose a paler shade than the one we have.
Insert shifts slightly
The corner ties and hidden zipper hold the duvet well, though the knit stretches a little and the insert drifts down over a night or two.
Looks like the listing
The muted earthy colour matches the listing closely, and the jersey has a softer, brushed look in person than on screen.
Guests liked it, one note
Our guests said the room felt calm with this set on the bed, though one thought the earthy tone would be better in a larger room.
Keep the room simple
It looks best with plain bedding and simple wooden furniture, since the knit texture alone is enough detail for the bed.
Softer after washing
The brushed jersey softened further after the first wash and has kept its muted earthy tone, with no pilling on the surface.
Simple to look after
It washes simply and stays soft, and the knit has kept its shape without pilling even where we sit against it every night.
