Description
Stillgarden imagines the bedroom as a quiet garden, where botanical detail meets the softness of faded color. Branching florals, slender leaves, drifting butterflies and ornamental curves unfold across gentle grounds, while contrasting borders and ties give each design a clear frame. Individual patterns move between airy spacing and fuller compositions, sharing a subdued palette and a sense of unhurried rhythm. The collection brings these different garden impressions together to create a bedroom that feels personal, restful and quietly expressive.
Small floral clusters and delicate butterflies sit lightly across the pale cotton and linen fabric, with caramel ties adding a warmer note. Place a plain cinnamon cushion against the pillows to echo that edging, and lay a loosely knitted oatmeal throw across the foot. The larger knit gives the scattered little motifs a relaxed, tactile companion.
- Cotton and linen: Cotton and linen lend natural texture and a familiar softness to this light, patterned bedding.
- Small garden motifs: Delicate butterflies and little floral clusters create a spaced composition that keeps the pale ground visible.
- Caramel ties: Warm brown edging and visible pillow ties give the fine pattern a gentle but distinctive outline.
- Flexible layers: The pale patterned fronts and plain reverse sit comfortably with solid cushions and chunky, textured throws.

Butterflies are evenly placed
The butterflies and posies are scattered evenly across the duvet and the shams, and the bordering ties line up at matching points.
Insert goes in easily
The opening is wide enough to work the insert through without a struggle, and the cover sits smoothly over the filling.
The posies and butterflies make the morning feel like a garden in early summer.
Check the pillow size
The duvet size suited our bed, though the pillowcases are generous and our standard pillows sit a little loose inside them.
Ordered the same again
I ordered the same posy set a second time for the spare room, though the second one arrived with slightly firmer ties.
Back out for the cooler months
It came out of the cupboard as the nights cooled and has stayed on since, and the cotton-linen had not gone stiff.
Suits pale wood
It sits well with pale wood and a plain linen cushion, and the butterflies keep a simple room from feeling bare.
Looks like the listing
Print and colours match the listing closely, and the ground is a shade softer in person.
The posies are smaller and the cotton-linen softer than the printed set it replaced.
Comfortable in most weather
It has been comfortable from spring through autumn, and with a heavier insert underneath in winter it still works on the bed.
Right on a deep mattress
The fitted sheet covers our deep mattress without lifting at the corners, and the duvet hangs evenly on both sides.
Layering needs care
A plain ivory throw at the foot suits the posy print, though a patterned throw competes with it and looks crowded.
Would like a deeper tone
The posy print and the butterflies are exactly right, and the only thing I would add is a deeper ground colour for the darker room.
