Waking up under the deep green feels calm rather than dark.
Cover grips the filling
Getting the insert in takes a little patience because the jacquard grips the filling as you go.
Even jacquard throughout
The botanical jacquard is woven evenly across the whole cover with no missing or thin sections.
Deep, quiet and beautifully made.
Not perfectly smooth
The cover sits well over the insert, though the jacquard means it does not lie completely smooth.
Calmer than the brighter botanical sets I looked at, and less shiny.
The deep green makes the bedroom feel like it settles down at night.
Predictable sizing
Medium fits our double bed exactly as the last set did, so the sizing was predictable.
Warm enough for winter with a quilt
It is comfortable in spring and autumn, and with a quilt added it covers winter too.
Oatmeal lightens the olive
A plain oatmeal cushion against the darker pillows is all it needs to lighten the olive.

Plain from afar, detailed up close
From across the room it reads as a plain deep green, and up close the botanical jacquard appears.
Softer, and creases more
The washed cotton softened after the first wash, though it also creased a little more.
A little slack on a deep mattress
It lies flat once made, though on a very deep mattress there is a little slack at the foot.
Gift, then bought our own
Bought one as a gift, then ordered the same set for ourselves about a month later.
One cushion, no more
It layers with a plain oatmeal cushion, though a patterned throw on top would be too much.
Most of the year
It works for most of the year, though in high summer we swap to a lighter cotton set.

Deeper and quieter than the photos
The olive is deeper and the jacquard quieter than the photos, which looks more settled in the room.

It is our autumn set; from September it goes onto the bed and stays until spring.
One fold crease
Very pleased. Mine arrived with a fold crease across one pillowcase that took a few days to drop out.
Deep green and a soft surface, though it is darker in the room than it looks online.
So cozy!
I was looking for something vintage but simple, and this is it. It washes well and actually seems to get softer after laundry. The floral design is very subtle.
Fast shipping and great packaging. The bedding feels like a cloud. It keeps me cool at night but feels heavy enough to be cozy.
Stunning texture
The jacquard pattern is even more beautiful in person. It adds such a nice depth to the room without being too loud. The washed cotton is incredibly soft right out of the package.
Perfect wabi-sabi vibes. The color is a true earthy taupe, exactly what I was looking for. Feels very high quality and durable. Highly recommend!
Love the raised floral detail. It’s elegant and unique. Just note that the "washed" look means it is intentionally wrinkled, which I like, but maybe not for everyone.
