Description
Fine stripes give this bedding a quiet rhythm, with enough texture to keep a neutral room from feeling flat. The lines have a softly uneven, woven character rather than a crisp printed finish, and the washed cotton falls into easy folds. A plain reverse adds a restful block of color beside the detailed face. The result feels casual and considered, equally at home with old wood or clean-lined furniture.
For the beige and brown combination, add a plain ivory linen cushion near the head of the bed to pick up the pale ground without repeating the stripes. A warm oak bedside table echoes the brown lines, while its broad, smooth surface contrasts with the closely spaced texture of the fabric.
- Washed cotton: Soft cotton with a relaxed finish brings everyday comfort, allowing the fine woven pattern to feel easy rather than formal.
- Textured stripes: Narrow jacquard lines create a gently irregular rhythm across the fabric, adding interest without a large or dominating motif.
- Solid contrast: The plain reverse gives the eye a pause beside the striped face and offers another layer of color when folded back.
- Understated outline: Simple pillowcase edges and coordinated stripes suit both spare contemporary rooms and bedrooms furnished with warmer, older pieces.

Second set for the guest room
Bought a second set for the guest room after ours had been on the bed for a month.
Stripes stay consistent
The stripes are consistently spaced across the duvet and the pillowcases, with no drift at the seams.
Soft against the skin
The washed cotton is smooth and soft against the skin, with none of the crispness of a new cotton set.
Housewarming present
Gave a set for a housewarming and it went straight onto their bed the day it arrived.
A warm beige with fine brown stripes.
Suits a mid-weight insert
A medium-weight duvet fills it out best, rather than something thicker and heavier.
Border hangs properly
There is enough length on the sides for the cover to reach past the mattress and stay there.
Finer stripes than the photos
Mine came with finer stripes than the photos suggest, and the bed looks taller for it.
Made for changeable weeks
It suits the changeable weeks either side of summer, when heavy cotton feels like too much.
Perfect texture
The irregular pinstripes add such a nice detail without being too loud. It fits my "dark academia" room theme perfectly (I got the charcoal grey). Super cozy for reading in bed.
obsessed with this set! the fabric breathes so well, i don't get sweaty at night anymore. the stripes are subtle and look hand-drawn which i love. definitely buying the grey one next.
This bedding is a dream. It feels like sleeping in a cloud. Washed it twice already and it just gets softer. Highly recommend if you like the vintage minimalist style.
Exactly the vibe I wanted
I've been looking for this specific crinkled texture for ages. It’s so soft right out of the package and gives my room that effortless, lived-in look. The oatmeal beige color is perfect—warm and neutral.
Great quality, zipper is a plus
The washed cotton feels durable yet soft. I appreciate the hidden zipper closure, makes it much easier to change than buttons. Took off one star because the grey is a bit darker than the photos, but still looks classy.
Simple, soft, and beautiful. Love that it has ties in the corners to hold the duvet.
