Description
Lilac and deep plum bring a rich contrast to Thistle. The lighter duvet rests against a darker sheet, with mixed purple pillowcases carrying the palette across the bed. Soft folds keep the solid-colour cotton bedding looking relaxed.
Pair the purple tones with pale walls and warm wooden furniture to let the colour take focus. A simple bedside lamp and a little greenery complement the contrasting palette without competing with it.
- Cotton fabric: Cotton bedding with a relaxed, softly folded appearance.
- Contrasting purple tones: A lilac duvet pairs with a deeper plum sheet.
- Mixed pillowcases: Lilac and plum pillowcases echo the bedding palette.
- Solid-colour design: Unprinted fabric keeps the focus on colour and drape.

Solid cotton, lilac duvet, deep plum sheet, mixed purple pillows.
Comfortable all year
It has worked in every season so far, breezy in summer with a thin quilt and warm once the insert is swapped.
Bought another after gifting
I gave one away and then ordered ours, though the second set came a slightly paler lilac.
The lilac and plum together give the bed a rich but calm contrast.
A crease from packing
The duvet arrived with a light packing crease, and it settled out after a couple of nights.
Better than our old set
Same size as the last set, and this cover finally reaches the mattress properly instead of sliding about.
Looks like the listing
The lilac duvet and the deeper plum sheet match the listing closely, and the palette is a shade softer on the bed.
Flat with a soft crease
Made up, it lies flat over the mattress, though the cotton keeps a soft crease along the fold line.
A friend asked for the link
A weekend guest asked where it came from, and a set has been ordered for her since.
Colour held after washing
After the first wash the lilac and plum stayed even, and the cotton felt softer than it started.
