Description

Slip into a softly faded color-block world. This washed cotton bedding set pairs a lighter face with a deeper contrast reverse and matching pillowcases, giving your bed a gentle, lived-in glow that feels made for slow mornings and cozy dorm nights — pick from 20 color-block and solid colorways to match your room.

Key Features

  • Color-block design pairing a lighter face with a contrast reverse for an effortless two-tone look, available in 20 colorways from soft pastels to deep neutrals
  • Garment-washed cotton with a soft, crinkled hand that only gets cozier wash after wash
  • Brushed twill weave with a matte, breathable finish that stays cool and comfortable through the night
  • Reactive-dyed colors that resist fading and stay rich over time
  • Available as a flat-sheet or fitted-sheet set to match how you make your bed

Styling Tips

Layer your chosen colorway with cream throws and natural wood furniture for a soft, romantic bedroom, or keep it minimal against white walls for a calm, airy feel. The two-tone palette works beautifully in coquette, soft-girl, and dorm-room setups — mix a duvet in one shade with pillowcases in another for extra contrast.

This set comes in Small, Medium, Medium Plus, and Large to suit single, double, queen, and king beds. See the Size Guide for the full component chart and bed compatibility.

Machine washable for easy everyday care. See product tag for full care guidance.

Care

Washability: Easy Care (Machine Wash)

Best Result: Wash & Use (Gets softer with time)

The ultimate low-maintenance fabric. Washed cotton is pre-softened and designed to look better with every wash.

The Routine

  • Machine Wash: Cold or lukewarm water on a normal cycle. This fabric is durable.
  • Detergent: Standard mild detergent works well.
  • Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry naturally for that breezy, relaxed vibe.
  • Ironing: Optional. The relaxed, wrinkled texture is part of the charm. If you prefer a crisp look, iron on medium heat (<150°C).

💡 Expert Tips

Quick Stain Rescue:

Cotton is absorbent. If you spill something, treat it immediately with cold water and mild soap. Blot gently (don't rub hard) and wash as usual.

Check the pillow size

The duvet size suited our bed, though the pillowcases are generous and our standard pillows sit a little loose inside them.
cottage_dreamer

Soft but brushed texture

The cotton feels soft straight from the pack with a matte brushed surface, though it is lighter in weight than our previous set.
Thomas United States
Softer and much less shiny than the cotton set it replaced.
Lauren

Seams are neat

The seams run straight where the lighter face meets the reverse, and the pillowcases carry the same clean colour change.
Penny W.

Washed up well

It came through the first wash with the colours still even and no fading along the fold lines, and the cotton softened further.
Anika United Kingdom

My partner likes the plain look

My partner usually prefers plain bedding and he likes this set, saying the two-tone finish keeps it from looking flat.
Mira

Plain throw keeps it calm

A plain throw at the foot lets the darker reverse show when the cover is turned back, so the bed gains contrast quietly.
Beth W.

Gift for my sister

I gave a set to my sister for her new flat and she liked how easily the two-tone look suits furniture she already had.
Amelie R.

Would like a warmer tone

The colourway we chose is exactly right, and the only thing I would add is a warmer clay option for the second bedroom.
Ella Japan
The contrasting reverse is what makes a plain colour look considered.
Ruby

Best in the milder months

It breathes well through spring and autumn, though in the warmest weeks we found the cotton a little much for the nights.
Paige R.

Out again for the cooler months

It came out of the cupboard as the nights cooled and has stayed on since, and the washed cotton had not gone stiff.
Ivy S.
Turning back the cover to show the darker reverse feels like a small pleasure.
fairy_dust22

Insert goes in easily

The opening is wide enough to work the insert through without a struggle, and the cover sits smoothly over the filling.
Toby N.

Good in the morning and evening

In the morning the lighter face looks clean in daylight, and in the evening with the lamp the darker reverse side reads warmer.
Daisy

Works with pale wood

It sits well with pale wood and plain linen, and the contrast reverse keeps the bed from looking flat without any pattern.
M. T. United States

Fine on a standard bed

It fits our standard double neatly, though on the guest bed with a topper the fitted sheet pulls slightly at two corners.
@softlinehome

Ordered the same again

I ordered the same colourblock a second time for the guest room, because the two-tone look suits a plain bed so easily.
Sanne V.

Looks like the listing

The lighter face and the deeper reverse match the listing closely, and the washed cotton is a shade softer in person.
Cleo M. United States
