Would like a matching throw
Really happy with the cover. A fleece throw in the same stripe would be the one thing missing.
Works with plain layers
It works with plain white sheets and a grey blanket underneath, with the stripes doing the rest.
Earns its keep in the cold room
It stays on the bed in the coldest room in the flat, where the fleece earns its keep.
Closer to velvet than knit
Softer and less woolly than I expected, closer to velvet than to a heavy knit fabric.

Ordered a second cover in the same colour for the spare bed rather than mixing tones.
Warmer than a printed cover
The fleece face is fluffy and warm, though it is warmer than I expected for a printed cover.

A walnut bedside table grounds the black and cream, and a camel cushion warms the palette up.

Bought one for my brother and it has been on his bed since the first cold snap of winter.
Would like it in sage
Very pleased. I would like the same loose stripe in a sage or an ochre as well as the cream.
Crisp by day, cosy by lamp
In daylight the stripes look clean and graphic, and by lamplight the fleece softens the whole bed.
Warmer than the flat-weave cover it replaced, and much softer to touch.
More scattered on a king
It fits our bed well, though on a king the loose stripes would read more as scattered lines.
Less graphic than the photos
The cream is warmer and the stripes looser than the photos, which looks less graphic in the room.
Cold-weather cover
It is a cold-weather cover for us; from April the cream cotton set goes back on the bed.
Fluffy face grips the filling
The insert goes in easily, though the fluffy face grips the filling as you pull it through.
Waking up under the cream side feels brighter than the black stripes suggest.
Cases take firm inserts
Medium fits our double bed and the pillowcases take firm inserts comfortably enough.

A plain throw at the foot works; a striped one on top of the wandering stripes would be too much.
Cat approved 🐱
My cat has claimed this duvet cover as her own. It's fuzzy and thick. I washed it once and there was no shedding, which is a huge plus.
Sleeping on a cloud
I struggle to get out of bed now. The flannel fleece is high quality and doesn't feel cheap or scratchy. Highly recommend if you get cold easily.
So soft!
Honestly, I didn't expect it to be this soft. It feels like real fur but cruelty-free. The black waves look super cool in my room.
Perfect specific aesthetic I was looking for. It gives off that Y2K indie vibe but feels expensive. Super warm for the upcoming winter.
The pattern is bold and exactly like the photos. It is VERY warm though, maybe too warm for early autumn, but I know I'll love it in December.
