No extra pillowcase option
The set has everything I need and the stripes are exactly right, though extra pillowcases are not sold on their own.
Cream cushion softens it
A cream cushion in front of the striped pillows softens the candy tones, and the plain fabric keeps the bed looking uncluttered.
Good on humid nights
It stayed comfortable through a humid spell and did not cling, and it breathes well on the warmer nights too.
Better with pale wood
It looks best with pale wood and a plain linen throw, though beside dark furniture the pale stripes lose some of their contrast.
Sizing matched the guide
I used the size guide and the cover fitted our bed as the measurements suggested, with two pillowcases included in the larger size.
Stripes are evenly woven
Fine lines run evenly across the duvet and the pillowcases, and they stay straight at the seams without wobbling.
Would like a deeper tone
The colours are exactly what I wanted and the cotton is lovely, and the only thing I would add is a deeper green stripe.
One plain throw is enough
A plain cream throw across the foot is all the layering this needs, since the stripes already carry the pattern for the bed.
The thin stripes give the bed colour without making the room loud.
Back out for the cooler months
It came out of the cupboard as the nights cooled and has stayed on since, and the cotton had not gone stiff in storage.
The stripes make the morning feel cheerful, though the pale ground marks easily.
Ordered the same again
I ordered the same striped set a second time for the guest room, since the candy tones suit a smaller room particularly well.
Gift for my mother
I sent a set to my mother and she liked how easy the colours are to live with, and she has kept it on the spare bed since.
Insert needs a bit of work
The duvet goes in fine with two hands, though the opening is on the narrower side and the insert needs pushing into the corners.

With a light quilt in summer and a heavier insert in winter the same cover has worked through the year, and the cotton breathes well.

My partner usually prefers plain bedding and he likes these thin stripes, saying they still look calm rather than sweet.

It washed simply and the candy stripe has stayed even without fading, and the cotton came out softer than it went in.
Looks like the listing
The stripes are the same fine width as the listing and the colour is a shade softer in person, which suits our bedroom light.
Right on our mattress
The fitted sheet covers our mattress properly and the duvet hangs evenly on both sides, so the stripes run straight across the bed.
