True to the size chart
The measurements on the size chart matched what arrived, so the duvet covers our double without any of the guessing we had with the last set.
Best in the mornings
It feels lovely in the morning when the room is cool, though in a warm evening the linen-cotton can feel a little rough at first.
Stripes are evenly spaced
The ticking stripes are evenly spaced on the duvet and the pillowcases, and the lines run straight with no wobble at the seams.
Better after the first wash
It looked and felt better after the first wash, and the stripes have kept their colour without fading or running.
Softer and far more relaxed than the crisp cotton it replaced.

The fitted sheet covers our deep mattress without slipping off the corners, and the cover is generous enough to hang evenly on both sides.

It came out for spring and moved between two rooms, though by midsummer we swapped it for something even lighter.

A stacked linen throw at the foot layers naturally over the ticking stripe, and the two textures keep the bed quiet rather than flat.

It settles into our wooden bed frame and rattan chair as if it had always been there, and the muted stripe does not compete with the room.

Muted and easy to live with, and the only thing I would change is adding a slightly warmer ochre option to the stripes.
